CLAIRE M. AUFRANCE

Claire began her appraisal career in the Triangle area of North Carolina immediately following graduation for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002. She has been actively appraising real estate in North Carolina and Virginia since that time. Her varied appraisal experience includes multi-tenant office, land, small residential, multi-family, industrial, special purpose and a variety of commercial property types. Claire joined John McCracken & Associates, Inc. in the spring of 2009 and has been specializing in appraisals for eminent domain proceedings since that time.

Claire is an active general Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute, having served on various committees of the North Carolina Appraisal Institute since becoming a member in 2002. She was Chair of the Associates Committee in 2006 and is currently serving as Co-Chair of the Government Relations Committee. Claire is currently an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute and is in process of fulfilling the requirements to obtain her MAI designation.

Claire maintains general appraisal certifications in the states of North Carolina and Virginia, and is also a licensed real estate broker in the state of North Carolina.
